One of my goals for 2010 (I haven't decided yet if I want to say 'two thousand and ten' or 'twenty ten') is to read 25 books. I have a pretty good list so far but I need suggestions. January is almost over so I need to get going on this. After I read the book I will post my feelings and thoughts about the it. Please leave me suggestions of your favorite books. Thanks friends!

Go see my book blog for lots of recommendations! http://tweedlediva.blogspot.com/
I especially recommend the Pillars of the Earth and World Without End, The Lace Reader, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Pie Peel Society, My Sister's Keeper, and anything by Tess Gerritsen, James Rollins, Tami Hoag, Sue Grafton (start with "A"), or Philippa Gregory.
Thank you April! I should have just thought to come and ask you for suggestions in the first place. I am going to have a lot of spare time to read because Vance is dissecting in February. sigh...
Ali, it was so fun to see you before you left! As for books I'm not too much help. I loved Hunger Games, and Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, adn The Last Lecture. Hope you guys are doing well!
Hunger Games, Uglies, Kite Runner, Bonesetters Daughter, Mere Christianity or Screwtape Letters, Nickel and Dimed, Secret Life of Bees, Goose Girl, The Lovely Bones(minus the sex scene at the end),and from Clancy-Into Thin Air. Some of these are YA books, but I love reading those during school to break up text book reading or between the hefty books. Keep us updated on what you're reading, I love hearing about great books to put on my list to read.
I just read a good book with Doug about the jews in WW2. It was sad, but really good. It's called "Night". Good idea to read the 25 books. I will have to keep updated and see what books I want to try reading! We sure miss you two...
Matt is dissecting in February, too! Horrible. Call me if you want to come over and watch movies or go to the mall. It's gonna be a loooonnnggg lonely month.
I will second the hunger games and its the start of a 3 book series, and if you read it just plan to read the other two as well, catching fire was awesome! Also, for book club last month we read The Transfer, it was really interesting.
Sophie recommends any works by Dr. Seuss or Stan and Jan Berenstein. All classics
I am in the midst of reading all my family's favs this year. So far I'd recommend: 3 cups of tea, Mormon Scientist(loved this one), The Secret LIfe of Bees, The Book Theif (love love love), and the series with the Uglies, Pretties and Specials. Good reading.
oh and I also second the Goose Girl
