I finished my last river trip at the end of August, came home long enough to pack and flew to Athens. Mom and Dad surprised me at the beginning of August by telling me that they were taking me to Greece for two weeks.
Vance was a great husband and helped me get all ready to go even though he wasn't coming with me. After multiple flights, one between two extremely large men, and a very long international flight, I made it to Athens. I took a wild taxi ride, with a greasy man who spoke very little English, to Piraeus where the boat was docked. Mom, Dad, Natalie, and Ellie met me at the boat and later that evening we headed out into the Aegean Sea. For the next ten days we sailed around the Peloponnese Peninsula. We spent our time relaxing on the boat, exploring Greek villages, eating strange food (some good, some disgusting), and lots of shopping. After our ten days on the boat we made it back to Athens. I only had one day in Athens and so we had to pack it full. We went to the Acropolis, which was amazing, walked all around the city, and found many more streets to shop. The next morning, Dad and I rode the subway to the airport where he dropped me off and I started my long trip home. It was an amazing trip but I was happy to come home and have a husband again. More pictures to come.

ALI!!! Where have you been all my life? I didn't know you had a blog. And that you went to Greece, that's amazing, and I am VERY jealous. We totally all need to get together soon, I haven't seen you forever. Maybe we should all get together for lunch or something. Anywho, I hope Vance's interviews are going well, that is so exciting.
