After 6 months of marriage I decided that was is time to start a blog. Vance and I celebrated our 6 month anniversary yesterday, which practically makes us pros on the subject. There has been so much happening the past six months so I decided that making a short list would be the best way to catch up.
-January 2: We got married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple, had our luncheon at the Woodbury Art Gallery, and had our reception at the White Willow. It was a perfect day. Vance said that it was the best but also the longest of his life.
-We went on our honeymoon to the Zion Mountain resort where we hiked Angel's Landing and had a great couple of days.
-We moved into an attic apartment south of campus which I love because of its personality. I love everything except that it is always really cold or blazing hot.
-We started school right after our honeymoon and had a very busy semester.
-Vance taught German 102, took a very full schedule, went to a MCAT prep class 2 nights a week, and worked at the BYU ticket office.
-I had a busy class schedule but I was excited to finally be in the Advertising program. I also worked at the White Willow Reception center where I learned a lot about event and wedding planning.
-After finals week was over, I began working full time and Vance studied full time for the MCAT.
-Vance took the MCAT on May 27 and was very relieved to have it finished. He did a great job we are both very excited to start medical school next year.
That was just a quick catch up on our lives. Hopefully we won't wait 6 months before we post again.
